Salary Negotiation During Interviews


Salary negotiation is an important activity carried out during the process of personal interview of individuals. A person who came for an interview must be prepared practically and theoretically so that he can recognize and perform well in the interview. Performance in Interview is an important for each individual in securing higher salary during the course of the life cycle of an individual. For facing an interview, an individual shall have to prepare well before the day so that he can’t loose his temper while sitting before the executives of an organization. Interview can be of different types such as telephone interview, personal interview or face to face interview, written tests etc. The company salary individuals who perform well in the average salary interviews shall be placed in an appropriate position in an organization. The position of an individual in an organization varies according to the experience he possesses. Salaries are negotiated with the Human Resource Department in an organization based on the salary he is received from a previous employer and also based on the additional qualification he got. The salary is fixed by the Human Resource Department for a newly joined person and all correspondence and queries in relation to the salary particulars must be addressed to the respective person placed in the Human Resource Department.
